treatment used. Children and pets must stay away from treatment areas during application
and until the advised re-entry requirements have been met. Please follow all preparation

Tell us about all pets when booking, including dogs, cats, birds, fish and reptiles. Depending
on the service, pets may need to leave the property or stay in an untreated area away from
the work. Remove pet food, bowls, bedding and toys from treatment areas as instructed.
Birds, fish and reptiles may need additional precautions, which our team will explain. Keep
pets away until the advised re-entry requirements have been met.

Pest control products can cause harm if misused or through unnecessary exposure. Our
technicians select suitable products for the pest and treatment area and follow the label
directions. We will explain the preparation, re-entry and aftercare requirements for your
service. Please tell us about any health concerns before treatment.

Coverage depends on the package or targeted treatment booked. Our packages offer
different levels of internal and external coverage; gardens and fence lines are included only where specified. Roof cavities and subfloors are treated where included and safely accessible. General pest treatment provides light internal maintenance for occasional ants. Active or
persistent ant infestations may require a separate targeted ant treatment. Our standard
targeted ant service covers common household ants; carpenter ants require an assessment
and separate quote on site. German cockroaches also require a separate targeted service
and follow-up visits. Tell us which pests you are seeing so we can arrange the appropriate
treatment.

This depends on the service and products used. We will tell you before your appointment if
you need to leave the property or stay out of particular areas. Follow your technician’s re-
entry instructions, including any specified waiting period, drying and ventilation requirements. Do not assume an area is ready to use simply because a set amount of time
has passed.

Please tell our office when booking about asthma, respiratory conditions, chemical
sensitivities or other concerns that may affect treatment arrangements. We can explain the
proposed treatment and required precautions. Your healthcare professional can advise on
additional precautions for your individual circumstances. Follow all re-entry and ventilation
instructions supplied for the service.

Treatment times depend on the service, property size, access and level of pest activity. We
will provide an estimated timeframe when confirming your booking. Targeted treatments
and termite inspections may take a different amount of time from general pest treatments.

Pests sprayed directly during treatment will be affected quickly. Once the treatment has
dried, pests need to contact treated surfaces, and it takes longer for them to die. As a guide,
large cockroaches may take around 10 hours and webbing spiders around 48 hours after
contact, depending on the product and exposure.

Cockroaches seen during the day or moving slowly after treatment may be affected by the
products. Higher infestations can take 6–8 weeks to settle, and targeted treatments may
require follow-ups.

You may still see occasional pests after this period, as treatment does not seal your home or
prevent pests from entering. Contact our office if activity remains consistently high or you
are unsure what to expect.

Some pests need more than one visit. Targeted ant follow-ups are generally scheduled
around 6 weeks after the initial treatment. Flea follow-ups are generally arranged around
3–5 weeks, and German cockroach follow-ups usually around 2–4 weeks. Timing varies with
the treatment and activity, and heavy infestations may need additional visits. Our team will
explain the recommended schedule and follow-up costs when booking.

We will provide preparation instructions for your booked service. For general pest
treatments, these commonly include putting away exposed food, cookware and utensils;
clearing toys, clothing and loose items from treatment areas; and providing access to room
edges and other included areas. For external spraying, follow our instructions about closing
windows, removing washing from the clothesline and relocating pets and their belongings. Targeted services may require different preparation, so follow the instructions for your
particular booking.

Not usually for general pest treatment, unless advised otherwise. Targeted treatments,
particularly for German cockroaches, may require cupboards or other areas to be cleared
for inspection and treatment. Follow the preparation instructions supplied for your booking.

Internal-only treatments, such as Budget Plus, can generally proceed in rainy weather.
External treatments depend on conditions and the products being applied. If rain is likely to
affect the safety or effectiveness of your service, our office will contact you to discuss the
appointment and reschedule where necessary. Rain in the forecast does not automatically
mean your booking needs to be cancelled.

Rain does not automatically mean your external treatment has washed away or stopped
working. Once dry, the treatment continues working on treated surfaces. Sunlight and
weather exposure gradually reduce its effectiveness, and heavy or prolonged rain may
affect exposed areas.

Our technicians assess the weather before proceeding. Light mist or drizzle is generally not a
concern. If heavy rain occurs shortly after your treatment, contact our office so we can
assess whether any areas may have been affected.
